Requiem
Requiem
Requiem is a large-scale charcoal drawing about remembrance, transference of energy, and daydreaming. A dream is just that until you take the steps forward to make it a reality. It's easy to dwell in the past and remember who you were, but it takes conscious effort and willful actions to manifest the dream you visualize. Upon taking those steps forward, one finds themselves falling into place with their new way of life. The piece was drawn on a 22" x 30" cut of watercolor paper.
This reproduction of my work is printed on 330 gsm hot press archival print paper. This museum quality print faithfully captures the fine details of the work down to the individual pencil marks. This print has no border. This decision was made due to the white negative space utilized in the work as well as maximizing the space available in the print. The print is rolled carefully into mailing tubes to avoid creasing or other damage during shipping.
